CCM Tacks AS-V Pro icehockey skate Senior

CCM Hockey has redesigned its popular Tacks skate to support the modern power skater. The CCM Tacks AS-V Pro Senior Ice Hockey Skates are designed to provide strength and power while being extremely lightweight. These skates offer superior energy transfer and a tighter fit to support the most intense skating strides.

The Tacks AS-V Pro skates feature an anatomical fit familiar to players in the Tacks line and fit snugly on the foot. The 360-degree fit in the forefoot, heel and ankle eliminates negative space inside the boot, allowing for more efficient energy transfer that leads to increased speed and agility.

The Tacks AS-V Pro Skates feature CCM's one-piece "power" boot technology. Designed for the modern power skater with intense strides, this shoe provides explosiveness without restriction from the kick. Players get more direct energy transfer and a foot-hugging fit to help them be as fast and agile as possible on the ice. The one-piece shoe is made of RFM Composite Carbon, a premium carbon material that ensures the best possible energy transfer within the shoe. It has a stiffness of 215, is super lightweight and thermoformable for ultimate skating performance.

At the front of the AS-V Pro Skate is CCM's interchangeable metatomical tongue with D30 foam. This multi-layer 7mm tongue has an asymmetrical flex point for better sheathing, and the D30 Smart material insert helps direct the force of direct impacts, such as blocked shots, away from sensitive ankle areas.

The interior of the Tacks AS-V Pro Skates is packed with comfort and durability features. The TotalDri Pro+ lining with Polygiene is a high-performance, moisture-wicking material that wicks moisture away from the body, keeping feet dry and light. Multi-density memory foam in the ankle area hugs players' ankles anatomically for a comfortable boot fit. On the back of the skate, the Powerflex carbon tendon protector provides improved range of motion for fuller strides and more power while skating. For the footbed, CCM uses its Ortholite Ultralite footbed with heel hold. This provides premium comfort and support through recycled EVA foam.

For the lower half of the Tacks AS-V Pro skates CCM uses the popular SpeedBlade XS holder.
